Direct from the barn sale! Via Lancaster Pennsylvania... Unusual antique handcrafted apple orchard roadside gathering basket circa 1800s. Handwoven oak wide slats overlap bentwood bands that are secured to the rim and center of the basket.The bottom of the basket is double circular wooden planks one on the inside and the other on the outside. Condition is very good and as found with honest age appropriate wear and no major damage or repairs. Yes beautiful patina finish. See all views for finest details. Very sturdy and ready to use and enjoy. Measures a big 16"wide by 5" high. You clean and restore to your liking. Don't even hesitate! Best wishes
