Antique Reliance cigar single holders. These accordion style paper holder features a burning cigar lithograph on both sides illustrating the early Reliance cuban cigar labels. Features gold foil accenting details. Box of unused wrappers, banded with approximately 20 per set. Total of 5 sets in box. Approximately 100 total. (Difficult to count for certain without unbanding)Side A reads "Legitimos Hojas de Habana" (Genuine Havana Leaves)Side B reads "Finos Selectos Para Caballeros" (Fine Selection for Men)The patent claim is stamped near the bottom "Patentiert in Osterr-Ungarn U. Deuschland" (Patent in Osterreich-Ungarn / Austria-Hungary and Germany)The Austrian-Hungarian Empire dissolved shortly after WWI by 1918.Each measures approximately 5" x 7/8" and features pink tissue paper sides.The box is in poor condition. Without the lid, the wrappers look nice inside the tray and will make for a nice display piece for your general store or tobacco shop theme.Want to use them, instead of display them?
