This is a very nice antique picture frame. This beautiful wood frame is in excellent condition. Nothing broken, damaged or repaired. The wood frame is 1 1/8" thick, 5 1/2" wide, and 6 5/8" tall. Dovetailed and glued, no nails or staples. The antique wood frame is in superb condition, no chips or cracks. The frame shows quality craftsmanship in the construction. The joints are flush and tight, nothing loose or misfitting. Complete and intact, nothing missing or broken. The brass closures, hinges and screws are all original and intact. Again nothing loose or misfitting. The insert is antique green velvet backing glued to a two piece, hinged 3/8" wood insert. The wood is again in very good condition, no chips or cracks. The velvet backing is securely attached, nothing loose. The antique green velvet backing shows wear and fading. The glass measures 3 1/2" x 4 5/8".Nice antique picture frame in excellent used condition.
