Antique Ornate Cast Iron Coat Hooks & Bracket This triple cast iron coat hook is still mounted to a section of board w it originally served it's purpose. The board has been cut off on one end. The reason I have photographed it as found is because when you remove the screws, it allows the whole thing to be in four pieces. When it is mounted tightly, the pressure of the backplate keeps the hooks in position. The cast iron sections could be mounted to any board, or left on the original one to be mounted. The section of board is birdseye maple. The cast iron backplate is a little over 7 in. wide by 2&1/4 in. The two side hooks extend about 3&5/8 in. from the wall or mounting board, and the center smaller one about 1&3/4 in. It is in good vintage condition with no breaks or cracks, just a heavy coating of paint. I will ship this item disassembled to save on shipping costs. Very easy to put back together, just attach the 3 screws.
