Up for auction is a true piece of beautiful Antique Art Porcelain hand painted plate made by the Moritz Zdekauer factory of Austria. The plate features soft Geranium flowers, it is marked on the back, MZ Austria and the signature I assume is of the artist which is in cursive writing that I believe is spelled Jeanette C. Templeman. A little history about this plate and the company, the company first opened its doors in 1813 by the man Benedikt Hasslacher in Altrohlau to produce fine earthenware which would latter be named Moritz Zdekauer, the symbol on the back of this particular plate dates it between 1884-1909. The plate is 7 3/4" across and it is in fantastic condition for it's age, there are NO chips cracks repairs or wear to the hand painting that I can tell. This plate is being started way way below book value, so bid early. I know this will be a very rare addition to your MZ Austria or antique porcelain plate collection, please view my other auctions for more unique items.
