Moore Era Crystal Rug Created from Handspun Native Navajo Merino Wool Yarn with Natural and Synthetic Dyes on the Navajo Reservation.Circa 19104 feet 1 inches wide x 6 feet 10 inches longCondition: Good: There is end wear, some edge wear, some stains, and small areas of damage: Look at the photos.Description; This "lattice cross" rug is a variant of the rug shown in plate V illustrated in J.B. Moore's 1903 catalog, and republished as "The Catalogues of fine Navajo Blankets, Rugs, Ceremonial Baskets, Silverware, Jewelry & Curios" by Avanyu Publishing in 1987. Over all this rug could be a dramatic wall hanging. It might be used on the floor in a rustic (ranch or cabin) situation in "as-is" condition. With restoration it would be excellent for any decorative Navajo rug use or purpose.
