Here we have an antique majolica charming little brown pig match holder & striker. We think he is a must for piggy collectors. He is peering into an empty trough and looking none too happy. The barrel next to his head holds matches and the trough holds the spent matches. The colors are wonderful and the condition is good with one tiny old nick on the side back bottom and a stable hairline inside the barrel opposite the striker (last photo). We believe he was made in Germany and there are some identifying numbers on the bottom.
