2 Antique KPM RPM Cobalt Blue German Cabinet Plates Description: Two Antique German Cabinet Plates Luscious, deep Cobalt blue ground Color truly magnificent Gilding appears to be done by hand in real gold leaf Enameled highlights in turquiose and baby blue Two bands of Fine, very even white enamel stippling. They are each marked with the Royal Porcelain Manufactory (KPM) scepter marks in blue. I believe these are Mid 19th C. marks; definitely antique This Auction is for the Pair. Measurements: approx. 10 1/4" in diameter Condition: Both are in Absolute Excellent Condition! The scepter marks have been struck, but I was not able to ascertain why. From my inspection, they seem perfect. Absolutely No chips, cracks, or repairs. No gold wear or scratches.
