ANTIQUE BLUE&BLACK CALICOS DOUBLE T QUILT~ 66" x88" This offering is for this late 1800's Double T pattern quilt. 100% cotton this has wool batting/medium fill. The ground is a paisley black and white calico which is also used for the backing of this quilt. Did you notice the one square with an entirely different pattern? I believe this was intentional but am not sure if that signifies anything. If anyone has any information please let me know. This has survived over 100 years in good shape. There are some issues but nothing that one could not repair or remove. There are 3 small holes in the top of the quilt and 1 place at the edge that need to be resewn. There is already one mend at the edge. Also the back of quilt has some darkening in an area that looks like it will come out with a good soaking along with some slight stain on the top here and there that appear to be age spots or stains that will come out when soaked. This quilt measures 66"x 88". Large enough for queen or king bed. Primitive type hand quilting at 4-5spi. Winning bidder pays 16.50 for shipping within U.S. inc. delvy confirmation.
