Antique Hotel Americus Dinner Plate Allentown Pennsylvania Maddock England ChinaDescription Item : We have an antique dinner plate by Maddock China of England! The plate is for the Hotel Americus. The hotel was located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The site of the Americus has been used as a hotel since 1810 but has changed names and owners many times. President Martin Van Buren once stayed at the hotel site (it was then named the Northhampton Inn). Look for a bunch more china coming soon! More neat stuff in our store ! Size and Makeup : About 9" wide. Made of ceramic. Condition : The plate has some crazing. There is some darkening at the center of the plate (not severe, see our photos). Otherwise, the plate looks to be in good shape! No chips! Nice color! Markings : Front: Americus Hotel. Back: Maddock England Vitrified Feel free to email any questions!
