Tea pot is heavy, weighs 3 1/2 lbs. 12" tallHeavily silver plated.Age is unknown. It is not marked with any manufacturer's mark. An article on the internet explains that silver items that have no markings are probably dated prior to 1850. Before that there was no way to mark the items so they were either signed by hand or not marked at all. Stamping machines that would stamp the maker's mark were invented after that year. This pot has no markings at all, which makes me believe it is prior to 1850.It needs polishing. It has no dents. It is very ornately decorated.Free shipping
