We are offering a selection of handmade wool oriental rugs fresh from the floors of several local households. They range in date from the late 1800s-middle 1900s and all are in used condition requiring some cleaning. Many have wear as noted in the descriptions and NONE has pet odors UNLESS specifically noted. Please see our other sales for more nice carpets fresh to the market. This early to middle 1900s wool pile on cotton foundation rug measures 120" x 131" and has rich, deep, even pile overall with minimal signs of wear. It has spent the last 45 years in the same house and probably has never been sent out for cleaning. It is NOT disgusting, but it REALLY needs to be properly cleaned. The rug features rich floral borders and a tasteful variety of rich jewel tones and a very desirable deep blue field with inner broken border. It is central Persian, and I am pretty sure it is Kirman. The knots are medium and the condition of this rug is very nice. You will note a 2" very narrow area of color loss (shows as yellow in the images) on one edge. This will touch in in 2 minutes with the right color pen. If you find the rug attractive in our pictures, you will be knocked out by it in person. WE ARE ALWAYS HAPPY TO SHIP WORLDWIDE IF ALLOWED BY USPS.
