This is a lovely old pair of carved jade elephants, each on their own rosewood footed platform. Nice apple green jade, semi translucent and even. Nice detailed carving, matching brown tipped lifted trunks. 2 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches long, Nice fat 1 1/2 inches wide, these are chunky solid jade pieces, beautifully matched jade, natural undyed. Each stands on its own separate rosewood platform. These are very nicely carved, with good detailing, NOT similar to the mass produced dyed jade pieces popular today. No chips or damage.
