On offer is a set of six beautiful white fine antique French Pillivuyt porcelain oyster plates with gold trim. They each have six oyster wells and a central well for lemon or mignonette. They measure 9 inches in diameter. The background is the classic Pillivuyt Limoges raised stripe or ribbon pattern.They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or fading of the gilt paint - truly remarkable condition for their age. One of the plates has a very small dot firing flaw.They were made by the C.H. Pillivuyt Limoges Company, established around 1817. As mentioned, these are antique, not recent reproductions.Ships insured - US only..
