A Farmhouse in France Antique French Journal of Embroidery. A fold out monthly journal from the 1950's filled with monogram initials and complete Alphabets letters to copy. ideas for floral designs etc for napkins, dowry sheets, collars, cuffs, baby crib items etcLe Journal Des Brodeuses was delivered to a Sister Marie of the Infant Jesus and her name is written in the top left corner.The front page lists the contents of the journal and the back pages has subscription information and adverts for embroidery supplies.Contents for this particular edition include: alphabets, monograms and Broderie Anglais collars etcThe journal operates as 4 page leaflet which opens out with a large central sheet.CONDITION: see photos below - a few folds, and a tear down the middle fold but on the whole the pages are still good and legible.SIZE: when closed 48cm x34cm (19" x 13.5"). large internal sheet 98cm x65cm (38.5" x 25.75") sim0811 My preferred method of But I also accept cheques in Euros or sterling.
