This is a great old tin toleware water pot. It is 12" from tip to handle and 10" high/ The shape is an oval. I brought this back from the east coast and have had it on a shelf in my kitchen. It has great mustard color with black and burgundy trim. It has painted on the front in black HOT WATER with ledger lines to to keep it straight. The lid opens on the back where the handle to the center of the pot. The under of the bottom is painted black and has an impressed 5. Good Luck
