This is a great Folk Art marble carving of a book. Very Rare! These were carved by tomb stone masons in the 18th and 19th centuries as practice, as gifts, etc. And it developed into a fantastic Folk Art category of its own. This artwork is in worn condition and measures 3 3/4" by 2 3/4".A fantastic collectible!Keep watching for more "Rare Treasures".
