Antique Victorian Etruscan Revival Neo Classic pair of earrings. 15ct gold. Made in England circa 1875. Measurements:25mm (1inch) long; weigh 4.4grams. Ruler in pictures is in inches. A small globe surmount with tiny globules and filigree wire work suspends a cylindrical ring with a filigree twisted wire around it and tiny globules of gold between the parallel twisting threads. WIthin the ring, suspended from the top is a large round globe. All parts swing and sway as the wearer moves, the gold catching the light from every angle, adding a lot of interest and attraction to the earrings in a subtle way. The wires are very easy to insert and comfortable to wear. Perfect to wear by day or night. Very comfortable with a great look. Marks: none, as is to be expected of earrings of this age.
