DescriptionThis is an antique fluted china / pottery tea bowl. I have been told that this is Chamberlains Worcester. It is decorated in gold and blue pattern. It has 24 flutes and a pattern number on the base. I think that it may say No4. The pottery has a slightly grey tinge with a few black bits. Please see photos. Period I would guess 1790 -- 1810 Origin The mark underneath is like a New hall mark. This is one of a number that I bought. They are all damaged and all have paper labels on the bottom with numbers. I am not sure but this must have been from a collection. I do not know if the numbers are a catalogue number or pattern numbers. Condition It has a chip on the inside rim and a hairline crack running down from it. Also another crack that has a brown stain running from either side of it. This piece has a lot of crazing and a lot of tiny air bubbles. especially to the base. Slight wear to gilding.Please look at photos carefully.Even damaged if you have not got an example of this piece it would be great addition for any ones collection.
