This is a fine example of the furniture which was believed to have been brought to America in the 1950s in container ships from Europe. Tables such as this can be dated back to as early as 1768. This table in particular is in very good condition considering its age. It has one drawer which opens. It opens and closes freely but there is a slight gap on either side of the drawer, it moves slightly from side to side. The other three sides have a similar drawer look with hardware but they do not open. One hinge is off and is broken and included with the table. The table has a leather top and very nice gold leaf stenciling. The William Sourg-style brass claw feet are in good condition and the table overall is solid. It has blemishes from age and use. See photos for detail. This table has great potential as a "project" or could be painted for a more modern look. It appears to be in the Victorian English Drum Regency style of table. It stands 26-1/2" tall and is 28" across.Don't let this fine piece get away! Thanks for looking! This item is for local pickup only or buyer can arrange shipping.
