Very Old Dug Perfume/Lotion Bottle with Embossed Flowers . What a lovely antique dug bottle! Without the cork, it stands 4-5/8 inches tall. Measures 3-3/4 inches wide and 1-1/2 inches deep. A lady from long ago likely used the perfume or lotion from this old bottle before discarding it to be buried in the ground with other refuse from the home as was the custom. Dirt/debris is inside with opacification of the glass and whitish areas - see pictures. The glass also has some beautiful, colorful iridescence letting us know the bottle was made around 1915 or before. There is also dark reddish-brown debris on the outside which I have been able to chip away with a fingernail. There is a lovely flower and leaf design embossed all around the edges on the front and back. Embossed into the bottom are the numbers 2 & 20. On the outer lip of the opening, there is some wear visible in the pictures - an elongated chip which shows up as brown in the pictures from the debris that is in it. Also, there is a smaller chip beside it (see last 2 pictures in particular). The inner opening looks good.
