For Auction Rare Kister Scheibe Meissen Style Napoleon And Josephine Plaing Chess Figurine .Designed by Felix Zen. Studied at the Sonneberg Industrial School. Was among the top graduates from this school. From 1888 until his death he worked as a modeller in the A. W. F. Kister porcelain factory in Scheibe-Alsbach. Along with Schober, Zeh was the manufactory's busiest modeller. He specialized in Rococo and Biedermeier figures and in the reproduction of historical scenes. A large part of the Napoleonic figurines in the manufactory come from his hand. This figurine is very rare and in a great condition. Measures 9 " x 8 " x 6 " . Can be a nice addition to your collection .
