This is a high quality hand painted and signed ("Ahne") porcelain demitasse cup and saucer from the turn of the century. The bottom of the cup as well as the saucer are marked "JHR" in a circle with "BAVARIA" underneath. There is no crazing and the gold trim is not worn, but there is a flea bite chip on the rim of the cup with a hair line crack which I have tried to show in one of the photos. The chip is hard to see and does not detract from the beauty of the cup. The diameter of the saucer is 4 5/8". The diameter of the cup is 3". The heigth of cup and saucer is 1 5/8".
