Another section in wonderful condition! Silks (some irridescent) )one is an ombre ribbon type silk fabricand velvets all hand pieced onto a muslin background with a thin layer of fluffy cotton in between. The only flaws I see are along the very edges which would be covered when it was finished off. The width of the muslin is almost 14" and the length is 27", Several monograms and a name (C Tice?) leading me to believe this may have been intended for a friendship quilt or a gift of a sort from multiple embroidery donors. Myriads of a large assortment of feather stitching abound. All is very sturdy with no indications of prior use, shattering, or decay, like it has not seen the light of day since the late 1800s. Quite remarkable condition! Shipping will be $3.00 in the US. International buyers PayPal please, Insurance available upon request and suggested for this item. I have retired from my job and my my daughter Petey has agreed to help me "kick it up a notch" on eBay. She will be taking the pictures and selling some of her own items.
