Fresh from a great old estate comes this really rate and interesting Meat Cutter Union sign that has an overall measurement of 12-1/4" x 15-1/4". Judging by the oak frame and label on the back I would date this piece to around 1900 or so. The certificate has an applied gold seal that is a bit hard to read but I can make out that it's from the Rome N.Y union of meat cutters. All in all this is a really neat piece of American union history and will display great.
