Up for consideration is a beautiful Antique Chinese Republic Period Famille Rose Porcelain Vase. Exceptional quality. Featuring a lovely enameled flower butterfly and bug decoration. The back of the vase looks to have a poem and many marks as shown in photos. The base is signed with a Gu Yue Xuan Zhi mark. I think the mark dates to around 1916. I tried to do some research but I am far from an expert there are a couple of vases in the British Museum claiming to have this type mark form 1916. Anyways the vase measures approx. 7 5/8" tall. The porcelain is in excellent condition for its age, no chips, cracks or repairs. There is a little wear to the enamel painted beetles antennas as shown in last photo for complete accuracy. A very nice piece offered with no reserve. Thank you for your interest.
