Up for sale today is a cool antique Brass Fireman's Fire Hose Nozzle made by Rockwood Sprinkler Co., Worcester, Mass. This nozzle is called the "Rockwood Waterfog Nozzle". The top has a circle of 8 holes and one more in the center, each of which appear to have 2 ports inside to spray or possibly mist the water. The nozzle is approx. 8 1/4" long overall. It is 2 13/16" diameter (outside) at the base and tapers toward the front to be about 1 7/8" in diameter. It appears to be solid brass (a magnet will not stick to it). It is well marked with embossed wording on each side. It appears to be all original, unpolished with a great patina. There may be some light spots of green tarnish. It shows typical use wear, including light scratches, scuffs, nicks, etc. A cool display piece in your collection! Check out my pictures and email any questions. Thanks for looking!
