Antique, Solid Brass Pharmaceutical Mortar & Pestle . Nice eagle head handles plus a porcupine in a shield on both sides. At the base of the Mortar underneath the Shield on one side are large letters spelling RVFOLAND. On the opposite side underneath the Shield are large letter spelling MDCL.Bottom of mortar has RAK #2. The interior of the mortar shows usage. The mortar measures approx. 4 1/2” high with a 8” wide from one head to the other, with a 4 1/2” diameter at the top and 3 1/8” diameter at the bottom. It has some use and age I presume, as it is very beat up inside. Pestle measures 6 1/2" long and has the word CORICIDIN engraved on it, it has some age to it and is a little darker. Neat display items, all antique/vintage/pre-owned items are sold as is, in present state. S&h is 17.95 due to weight, and includes insurance and tracking.
