Up for auction we have a beautiful brass 3-chime pump whistle. This whistle is in perfect working condition. Approx 12" tall + 2 1/4" with handle, 4 3/8" diameter. T are no cracks, dents and the 3 mounting feet are all intact. This antique whistle is as found, except cleaned with water and the internal leather pump was replaced with a new exact factory made replacement, good for the next 100 years. This 3 chime is loud and has exceptional tone. These w only made from the late 1800's - early 1900's. T is no indication w it was made, very few had any maker marks or dates. They were used in early steam, gas launches and any vehicle that required audible sound for safety. Email any questions or if you would like additional Photos. Thanks For Looking!
