The item for bid is a fine antique blood letting bleeder. This was called the vaccinator and was patented in 1857 as shown on the tool. The tool is also signed. The name is J. W. W. Gordon M.D. Baltimore MD. The item came in 2 metals, brass and white metal. This one is white metal. It is in great shape. The metal shows proper ware. The piece seems to be in working order. It is very tiny at only 2" in total length. This is a hard to find example. Don't miss it. Check the photos. Any questions feel free to email me. Do not pay until a invoice is sent!!!!!!!!!!
