In excellent condition, with no cracks or chips, a bisque head for a Simon and Halbig 1249 DEP doll and part of a body. The head is for the so called "santa" mold, although it is not labelled as such. This auction is for the head with torso, arms, and hands. As you can see from the photos, the head is a size 8. Head is roughly 5 inches high, from the bottom of the neck to the top of the forehead. When combined with the torso, the length from the top of the head to the bottom edge of the torso is about 11". The doll is not strung. I believe that this torso and arms, which are strung together, go with this head; however, it is possible I am wrong. I can give any interested party a link to photos of this same doll, unclothed, with a body very similar to this, which is the basis of my decision to include the body parts in this auction. Both the head and the torso were found in my mom's basement. Unfortunately, I did not find the legs. The head has blue glass sleep eyes in perfect working order, with the glass eyes themselves perfect and the wax eyelids intact. The eyelashes are painted above and below the eyes. The open mouth has four pristine teeth. Ears are molded, and they are pierced. Eyebrows are molded. The face is somewhat dirty; I will leave the cleaning to those who know how best to undertake it.
