This is an antique circa 1890s-1920s French brass repeating carriage clock. The back movement is signed with several things such as "made specifically for Bigelow Kennard,Boston", there is a makers mark with a the letters A.M with a clock inbetween the letters, i drew the mark and took a picture of it, my camera had a hard time focusing on the mark, also it is marked J.C. & Co. Quality. It measures 5.25 inches in height, the base is 3.5 x 3.25 inches. IT will tick for about 2 seconds then stops. I did wind it and it will wind , so it is not wound too tight. However there is the little lever on top where the pinwheel is and that is snapped, it is present and i will tape to the clock. The carriage clock will need an adjustment to get it running. The glass on each side is perfect condition, the porcelain face is in perfect condition.
