This rare antique Limoges porcelain cranberry bowl from Bawo & Dotter Elite Works would make a wonderful addition to any china collection. With its subtle floral design on a white porcelain background, this small bowl is perfect for serving side dishes, sauces, nuts or candy. Brand: Bawo & Dotter Elite Works Pattern Number: BWD757 Type: Cranberry Bowl Material: Porcelain Dimensions: 3 " (H) x 6" (Dia.) Colors: White, Pink, Green Origin: France Age: circa 1891 - 1896 Markings: Bowl has the Bawo & Dotter Elite Works backstamp in red on the back. According to the website, this dates this bowl to circa 1891 - 1896. Features: Antique porcelain hand painted cranberry bowl in pattern number BWD757 from Limoges, France by Bawo & Dotter Elite Works, acquired from an upscale estate. Bowl is adorned with hand painted sprays of pink/purplish flowers and moss green foliage on a white porcelain background. Condition: Cranberry bowl is in excellent vintage condition, without any chips, cracks or crazing, except for three tiny brown firing spots and a couple of nicks on the base, which are not noticeable unless you flip the bowl upside down. This is a beautiful antique and rare cranberry bowl. I have not run across this pattern before.
