We are happy to offer some wonderful items from a German collection of Sammlung Lehner who started in the early 1910's - we received from the seller some pictures, showing the man and parts of the collection, from 1925, 1944 (in a collection room that was bombarded by the allies in the WWII) and 1953. The collection included trophies, weapons, jewelry and sculpture and was mainly African with a few oceanic items. The collection was authenticated and expertized in France by Cabinet Daffos & Estournel in Paris. Please make sure to check all other auctions for many fine items from the collection we will be offering in the coming weeks. This one is a Fine, antique Axe from the Fon people - Benin, circa 1900.
