This striking big girl is a 32" antique Kley & Hahn "Walkure". Beginning in 1903, Kestner made these heads for Kley & Hahn to use on their doll bodies. This head is in very good condition with no breaks, cracks or hairlines. There are a couple of chips around the top of the head where the wig was glued on and the left earring hole has a very small chip. She has blue sleep eyes that work very well. The body is a 17 piece ball jointed composition and wood body. There are a few stains and worn places but is a good strong body and very posable. It has been restrung. There is no wig and the stand is not included. Would make a great addition to any collection.
