This Antique 1920's Art Deco 10k Solid Yellow Gold Ring is set with a Fantastic LARGE 18x13mm Natural Dendritic Agate gemstone that is all natural and guaranteed as such. The pattern in this agate resembles Lightning Across the Sky . This Dendritic Agate is a Flat Rectangular Cabochon Cut with Beautifully Beveled Edges. Cabochon refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and highly polished instead of being faceted. The patterns in this agate are formed completely by nature and are guaranteed as such. Dendritic Agate is an almost transparent chalcedony with dendritic tree or fern-like inclusions of iron or manganese. The famous Russian jeweler Carl Faberge famous for his priceless eggs, who was a supplier to the Russian Imperial Court from 1885 to 1916, used dendritic agates together with diamonds and for many of his pieces. Dendritic agate is prized in Russia as a stone of long life, good health and prosperity. This Dendritic Agate is in PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION free of chips, nicks, cracks, or scratches. This Dendritic Agate is held securely by a top and bottom bracket bezel setting. This Wonderful Original Antique 1920's Art Deco ring has great Hand Engraved shoulder details. The darker oil slick colored finish on the side ridges and in the recessed areas of the ring is the natural patina of the ring that only comes with age. We only lightly polished the ring and did not remove this patina. If you would like us to polish the ring further to remove this patina just let us know, it is no problem at all. This ring is fully hallmarked “10k” and tests as and is guaranteed to be 10k solid gold . (Again this ring is guaranteed to be Solid Gold not plated or layered ) Aside from some wear on the side engraving detail this ring is otherwsie in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION and will arrive ready to wear.
