As an artist I wake every morning to coffee, the sunrise and the morning news before settling in to a series of studies to warm myself up for the day's commissions and my own original work. The other morning I woke to learn of the death of one of my family's heroes, a person who shaped the lives of countless friends and loved ones. I am not one normally drawn to making art of famous individuals, but I couldn't help but to find my pencil that same morning sketching out the face that so often graced my television surrounded by family.I hope you enjoy my artwork!
