An early example of potter Anita "Nita" Meaders pitcher jug (wife of potter David Meader s) with a cluster of grapes on both sides. Nita signed the bottom along with a registered trademark that follows "Meaders Pottery". To my knowledge, she signed her early pieces this way. Measures 8 1/2" tall and about 8" wide from grape cluster to grape cluster. The vase is perfect including the sides, grapes, handle, and mouth, other than the underside edge of the bottom rim where there are small chips from being sat down too forcefully. These areas are not noticeable unless picked up and turned upside down.
