IF THIS IS INCONVENIENT PLEASE DO NOT BID~I SHIP DAILY, ALWAYS. i don't know if this is a copper finish or actually copper. i don't want to scratch the box. the surface is not hammered but made with a mottled appearance which you can see in the close up of the mark. the lid has somewhat of a smoother surface though. it is old though and i don't want to try and clean or polish it. excellent box, both in condition as well as design. it is signed on the base with stamped letters in box form. it is signed with the GOBERG signature and the letters i see are O B E R G. check photos. 4" deep, 6-1/8" wide, and 2-3/4" high. the rivits on the sides, legs, clasp and top center are actual rivits, the raised detail around the sides of the top are impressed designs. check my auctions for the other if you are interested because i do combine shipping.
