Stunning Amethyst Geode¾ lb Beauty!Special Auction Starting at 99¢This beautiful Amethyst geode is from the country of Uruguay and ranges in medium to dark shades of purple with mixed size druzy crystal points. The geode weighs ¾ lb and is approximately 2¾" tall, 3½" wide, and sits up to 1½" deep. This geode has mostly polished edges, and stands freely on its own, making it ideal for display on a shelf, desk, mantle or more. The stone features a great mix of amethyst crystals with an agate rim! The stone also features a few tiny Calcite crystals that formed on the amethyst crystals. No geode is 100% perfect, so please allow for a few small natural chips in some of the crystals. This a special geode that was mined out of solid Basalt, which is the gray stone on the back of the piece. Pictures show the amethyst in two different kinds of indoor lighting conditions.Amethyst is in the same family of gemstones as citrine and quartz, and is mined in sizes from small gemstones up to the large cathedral church. A special Amethyst information card is also included with this geode. Would make a wonderful addition to a healing gems collection, as a gift, or resell for a profit.
