approximately one-gallon capacity, conical form with slightly flaring rim, applied strap handle, and molded medial band. Incised "E D" to underside.Color: lead-, copper-, and manganese-glazed over a slip wash, Circa: Second half 19th century. Condition: Very good visual condition having restoration to rim and base edge, minor hairline to rim. Size: 9 1/2" H, 4 3/4" D rim. Provenance: Provenance: From a Shenandoah Valley of Virginia private collection.
