This is a silver plated brass cornet from the Czech manufacturer Amati. It is in excellent working order - all slides, valves and other moveable parts work as they should and the instrument plays well. With the exception of the tuning slide the silver finish in in very good condition. The tuning slide has some brass areas showing through probably as a result of a repair - see photographs. A new DW 4b mouthpiece, a lyre and a case are included. This instrument is ideal for both beginner and amateur player.
