Alden Sampson 19th Century Original Mountain Landscape Painting - Great Frame! This is a wonderful original oil painting on stretched canvas by a listed American Artist - I did not find to much info online about the artist other than the fact that he was born in Maine and lived in NYC Condition: (see photos) the painting is in very good shape for it's age - it would be greatly improved by a good cleaning - the frame is great - looking at it straight on there does not appear to be any gesso loss - there is gesso loss around the sides.
