A really nice and RARE Vintage Large All Porcelain / Bisque Kewpie Doll, Fully Jointed with Glass, side glancing eyes. It's really a cutie and large size of 12".The top Knot has the look of baby hair pushed up from a nap. Side glancing dark blue eyes are glass and set-in. Soft short eyelashes, and short blonde/brown eyebrows all painted on. Hair is molded in at top, sides, and base of head, and is Blonde/Brown. This "Kewpie" can be posed in many positions, as the legs are jointed at the knee, hip, and arms. As this is a socket head, it also will swivel to side or glance down for various poses.It has damage to the one arm. I have owned this doll for over 25 years. It is marked on the neck, ges. Gesch.(Gesetzlich Geschietzt Copyright Patent) Rose O'Neill and J.D K. 18. I believe it to be a Vintage Antique Reproduction .I have always hid the bad arm with other dolls but it could be repaired professionally or replaced.It's a great, RARE and hard to find piece.Please be assured that all items I sell, I have owned for many, many years and they are coming to you from a clean, safe environment.
