Headed to the island.Beautiful original watercolor by Kit Lundwall.This is not a print or reproduction. These are miniature hand sketched then painted one of a kind watercolor paintings.No prints are ever made of my artwork by me or anyone that I know of.This is a tiny painting 3.5"x2.5"My paintings are gallery quality. Extremely collectable folk art.A little about me.I am a self taught artist/illustrator. Born and raised in Dayton Ohio, I had my first experiences with horses and ponies at a great boarding facility where we were, as kids, bucked off our steeds very nearly every day! What great fun we had! Loads of horses used to come in from out west, it was our job to see if they were broke. (Wasn't really a job, we were kids). Beautiful horses they were, every shape, color and size. My first horse was a snowcap appaloosa.I spent many winters in Wellington FL starting back in 1978 and most recently 2012. Bedford NY, several summers. I have lived in West Texas, New Mexico and Colorado raising and training polo ponies during the 1980's through mid 90's. Moved to Maine in 2000 to 2017, then I moved out here to Star City, IN.On occasion I do illustrations for POLO players edition magazine.I have been sketching and painting horses and other animals since I was a child, back then, Paul Brown pony books from the library were my favorite read more
