Published in 1866, it was Requested by Congress! That the Memorial Address given by George Bancroft at Abraham Lincoln's funeral on April 19th, 1865 be printed. It was issued from the Government Printing Office in Washington, D.C. This book has 51 pages of the Memorial Address and 15 pages of Appendix, totalling 66 pages in all, it Describes the actions of Congress on the Day of Assassination and their actions following.
