19th century, with shallow rounded sides rising from a slightly tapering foot to flared rim, covered overall with a deep cobalt blue glaze thinning to white around the rim, the base with a spurious Qianlong seal mark in underglaze blue. Examination under UV light reveals minor flaws from production and minor areas of uneven glaze, with no apparent restorations. Overall in good condition, with an area of small but heavy scratches to interior, with normal wear of rubbing and light scratching throughout, no apparent cracks or chips, with small rough areas on rim. Height 1 3/4 inches, diameter 8 inches.
