1/32 Scale Northrop XB-35 Plans, Templates and Instructions You are bidding on a set of plans for a 1/32 Scale Northrop XB-35. It includes the plans and templates/patterns for cutting the parts for this Great looking and flying airplane. Building instructions are also included. Although designed for electric power, I believe this plan could be converted to use a single .40 -.45 glow engine in the nose or pusher design in the tail of the fuselage. Other plans are for sale too. I'll be listing them as I pull them out. This plan is in perfect condition. All of my items come from a totally smoke free environment. It used the radical and potentially very efficient flying wing design, in which the tail section and fuselage are eliminated and all payload is carried in a thick wing. Only prototype and pre-production aircraft were built, although interest remained strong enough to warrant further development of the aircraft as a jet bomber, under the designation YB-49.
