3 ANTIQUE HAVILAND & CO. LIMOGES FRANCE BUTTER PATS MANUFACTURED BY: Two by Charles Field Haviland & Company, and one by Theodore Haviland AGE / PRODUCTION: The two CFH are ca. 1880's - Theodore Haviland is ca. 1925 COLOR / PATTERN: White base - Gold accents - Colorful floral decorations MEASUREMENTS: Square ones are 2 3/4 inches wide at the rim - round one is 3 3/4 inches MARKS OR LOGOS: Square ones are marked CFH above GDM - one also has a round, blue back stamp which reads CH. FIELD HAVILAND LIMOGES - Round one reads Theodore Haviland, Limoges, (in script) , FRANCE CONDITION: All three are in excellent condition - The square one with the gold pattern has a small nick in the glaze on the bottom side of a corner, no other nicks, chips, cracks, or crazing, and only a few minor scratches. Russ's note: All I know about these butter pats is what I can find in Kovels' New Dictionary of Marks, and common sense descriptions. Not being a collector, I may not scrutinize them like a collector. I will do the best I can. Thank you for looking!
