21` (53 cm.) armoire. Of light maple wood with faux-bamboo ornamental carvings, comprising armoire with full-length mirror on one door, shelved interior on other door, and single drawer, with silver handles; along with matching three-drawer chest with faux-marble top. Each piece bears the insignia stamp of Collet of Paris. Near mint unplayed with condition. Collet Freres, successor to Choumer & Collet, creators of doll furniture since 1867. These exact pieces are shown in a 1910 advertisement of Collet, as shown in The Encyclopedia of French Dolls by Theimer, page 146.
